Today I am taking a holiday! Don't hate! I deserve it.

Oprah is talking with Dave Chappelle today about his mysterious disappearance last year. Check it out.

Never fear lieblings, I will be back next week, blogging my way into your hearts.

Peace Love and Oprah.

Oprah is the new blog!

Hope everyone's week is going well so far. The weekend is almost here guys, so hang in there! But to make the end of this week go by more quickly here is a little gossip to satisfy your appetites.

Madonna is performing at this Years Grammy Awards as the opening act with Blur frontman's creation Gorillaz. Both these artists had interesting and successful years and I hope that they come up with something to knock our socks off! Also, word around the blogosphere is that Madonna and Guy Ritchie may be splitting up sometime in the near future. No one can confirm any of these rumors as true, so for the time being we will just have to guess.....

The performers for this years Coachella music festival have been announced. Apparently Depeche Mode and Tool will be the headliners. Other bands include the Scissor Sisters (a personal fave of mine) and Modest Mouse (who didn't love that song "Float On"?). Bonnaroo has also revealed their line-up with Radiohead(!) and Tom Petty (!!) headlining. To read more about it click here

Last night before the Presidents State of the Union Cindy Sheehan, the woman who has camped in front of the White House as a peaceful protest for answers from George W. was kicked out of the Senate last night as she was wearing a shirt that referred to the number of fallen soldiers in Iraq. This seems biased but it should also be noted that a Senator's wife was also ejected for wearing a shirt that said "Suppor our Troops". Good to see that freedom of speech and intelligent discourse over issues that effect ALL (yes, even you) of us are alive and well. Read about it here

Those tricky Japanese are up to it again! They plan to have Robot Butler avaialble in the near future!

Also, it has been announced that The Fugees are giving a FREE concert on Feb. 6th (Monday) at 7:00PM at Hollywood and Vine (by the Arclight). I tried to get tickets but it seems that it is already sold out! Hmph!

Here are some recomendations that I have for the weekend, if anyone is interested...

I recently read the book The Alchemist and it is pretty amazing. It is referred to as a fable about following your dreams and I thought it was really great. I have been reading a ton of scripts from this upcoming pilot season and I think that we have a couple of great TV shows on their way! I am currently reading "Studio 7 on Sunset" by Aaron Sorkin ("The West Wing", "Sports Night", "The American President") and "Six Degrees" which is being looked at by JJ Abrams ("Alias", "Felicity", "Lost"). I will keep you guys informed!

Also, last week my friends and I watched March of the Penguins. Those little motherfuckers have one rough life! It was a really fascinating movie! You guys should check it out. Also go check out Murderball. It is this movie about parapelegics on a sport that is best described as basketball in wheelchairs. It is really amazing how much these men do with their lives and how they do not allow their physical handicaps to impede upon their lives.

If you are looking for a yummy place for some fried chicken, I suggest trying Cynthia's on Third Street. It is somewhat pricey but well worth it. Cynthia is a bit of a chain-smoking, wine drinking loon but when she walks around and chats with her customers you are bound for a fun story! The fried chicken here is legendary and the keep your eyes peeled because the celebs are usually out in full force on week nights.

Have any suggestions for a cool place to eat? A good book to read? A rockin' movie to rent? Let me know!

I have noticed my hits have been decreasing these past couple of days! Come on guys, I do this for YOU! check me out and let all your friends know too!

Todays Oprah is covering the Ebersol Family Tragedy. It's some family whose members died in a plane crash or something. I don't really know what that is all about.

Peace, Love and Oprah

If Oprah started a religion, would she be the Pope-rah?

To open on a serious note, Loretta King passed away yesterday. Today is the first day of Februrary which is Black History Month and I would just like to say that without the courage of those who have come before us we would not be able to take part in the benefits of a free and open minded society. Progress comes slow, but for those who lead the way, thank you.

Now...on to the gossip!

Britney Spears has signed on to guest star on "Will and Grace" in it's final season. Apparently, Britney's brilliant acting skills did not go unnoticed in "Crossroads". If you ask me, Britney seems more of a "Desperate Housewives" kinda girl....but maybe thats because she's rich, unemployed and has a husband who doesn't love her.

(Remember when she used to look like this? You can take the girl out of hicksville but you cant take the hicksville out of the girl)

President Bush's State of the Union was as uninspiring as ever. With his approval rating falling rapidly, he finally noted that fact that we are "dependent upon oil and therefore oil producing nations". What a fucking 'tard. He is such a pompous little critter, and his involvement with the security of this nation is half-assed at best. Oprah would be such a better president. She ACTUALLY cares about our nation and it's people. She shows compassion to this nations people. She cannot be bought. She actually listens to the concerns and thoughts of the nation and takes action to help others. In other words, Oprah should run for President. She has been quoted as saying she would never run, but she has also been quoted as saying never say never. She should just do it to get a woman and an African-American in office at the same time!

The Academy Award nominations were announced today. This year looks like the AA's might not be a total waste of time. Usually you can tell who is going to win in every category but this year I think there may be some surprises. Also, having Jon Stewart is the best idea ever! He is really going to rock it out! Plus he i s totally pals with my homegirl! Anyways, "Brokeback Mountain" leads the pack with 8 nominations. For a full list of nominees click here

Todays Oprah is called "Breakfast with Oprah" and she is going to answer questions from the audience and cover some feel good stories. Also, it was revealed that Dave Chappelle will be appearing on the show next week to discuss how the pressure form his success led him to disappear last year. I love Dave Chappelle and can't wait for that episode! It is, however, quite disappointing that Dave Chappelle is going to be on Bravo's Inside the Actors Studio. God, anyone can get on that show nowadays. Who's next? Inside the Actors Studio with Danny Bonaduce?

And even though this picture is old, I am posting it because it's my blog and I can do whatever I want. So here it is, Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas peeing herself onstage! HAHAHAHAHA!

I hate to be that guy who name drops but I I also wanted to give a HUGE shout out to Terrance Howard. Congrats on the Academy Award nomination and thanks for the drinks at Teddys last night!!!!

Peace Love and Oprah

Oprah for Prez....2008!

Jesus H. Christ! What the fuck is wrong with LiLo? That bitch is so loony even Courtney Love must look down on her. Apparently Lindsay lost her DIARY last week and is threatening to take legal action if any media outlets publish it.

First of all, what is a 19 year old doing with a DIARY!?!? Second, why does LiLo always seem to lose shit like this (we all remember her wallet and a baggie of coke about a year and a half ago), and third, who does she think we are to care enough to want to read that crap?

Well luckily my top secret sources got me a few entries!

July 13th 2005:
Dear Diary,
Last night Paris and I hung out. We ended up going to The Roosevelt and then gangbanging a frat at UCLA. Afterwards we had coffee.
Love,
LiLo

September 21st, 2005
Today I was thinking about going to the hospital but decided against it. I am still trying to remember if I was ever molested to get onto any upcoming Oprah episodes. Tonight Paris and I are going to get gangbanged, I think. Waiting for plans to confirm.
Lates,
LiLo

November 27th, 2005
Today was Thanksgiving. I give thanks to cocaine and vomitting. My mom gave thanks to me! (well she called me her "little money tree" but it was still sweet). Tonight I am either going to go to a bar and then get gangbanged or I am going to get gangbanged and then go to the hospital. Sigh.....decisions! decisions!
XO
LiLo

Fascinating!

It has recently been reported that Jake G. used his break-up with Kirsten Dunst as emotioal ammunition during the filming of "Brokeback Mountain". Thats like saying that Pauly Shore used his traumatic childhood as motivation for "Encino Man". Get over it Jake, there are plenty of fish in the sea...you homo.

My super fly sources have revealed that John Travolta ($cientologist extrodinaire) and Demi Moore are in negotiations to play the leads in the movie
"Dallas" based on the popular 1980's soap opera. The film is slated for production in September 2006.

Lastly, Exxon reported a 10.7 billion dollar surplus this year. The largest reported surplus in history. I am really glad that our troops are in Iraq fighting and risking their lives so six board of directors can rake in the profits. I'm also glad gas prices are higher than they have EVER been, for no other apparent reason than to make the fat cats in this country fatter. Oh, Oprah, when will you talk about this travesty?

Today's Oprah is Lisa Ling examining street gangs. Thats right, homegirl, have that Asian chick risk her life.
